Gbenga Akinnagbe (Zim)

Gbenga Akinnagbe recently appeared in The Controversy at New York's prestigious Public Theatre. He also performed in Henry V at the NY Shakespeare Festival. Favorite regional productions, Romeo & Juliet, Cyrano De Bergerac, Hambone, All In The Timing and The Oedipus Plays. He was also part of NYC's 24-Hour Plays.

TV viewers saw Gbenga as a series regular on the ShowTime series Barbershop and this fall he'll reprise his role as series regular "Chris" on the HBO series The Wire. Upcoming is the feature film The Savages in which he co-stars with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Gbenga is a graduate of Bucknell University.
